About
Promoting a greater understanding of the meaning, history and evolution of the Second Amendment and its current debates and judicial proceedings, we strongly advocate
for the Second Amendment and the organizations who promote and defend it.
Through education, training and active participation in the judicial process, we can help effectuate the defense of and continued support for the second amendment.
We the people have a God given right to have and carry weapons for use as self-defense, hunting, sport, or any other lawful purpose. The gun played an important role
in the development of our country and many times life depended on the gun. The gun provided protection, food, and about the only sense of security available at times. Our Founding
Fathers and the people of our great Nation at the time of the adoption of the second amendment recognized this right and the value of it in order to stay free. The Constitution
codifies this right of the people, and this amendment unlike the others in the Constitution sets a limit on the government, not the people. In so, they sought to limit not only
the government but also anyone else from violating that right. They also knew that they might need a well-trained militia in the future to ward off oppression and tyranny. By
adopting the second amendment, they would guarantee that the people would not be obstructed from possessing and carrying weapons and that this Nation would remain free.

The People’s first line of defense is self-defense. It is often said that “when seconds count, law enforcement is at least minutes away”. So, it is imperative that not
only is it the right of the people to bear arms but we also believe it’s their civic duty and obligation to do so.
All citizens who own a firearm should but not be required to take a safety course and actually fire their weapon. Training is one of our greatest allies.
Those that are well trained during peace will be better able during hardships.
